We are proud to announce that I AM STEM, LLC, is an award-winning program. We received the Rose Duhon-Sells Program Award from the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME). This award is given to an educational organization whose mission and goals reflect attention to multiple facets of diversity. The program must offer curriculum that responds to the diversity of our nation and prepare students to be active participants in our democratic society. The program must also foster connections between home, school, and community and produce documented results that can be shared with the larger educational community. Dr. Duhon-Sells, herself, founder and first president of NAME, presented the award to I AM STEM's founder and executive director, Dr. Natalie King. What an honor and privilege! Thank you to all of you who have made I AM STEM the stellar program it has become!
